No More Creasing Concealers!

There’s nothing worse than trying to conceal your undereye circles only to have them look worse than before you applied concealer. For me, concealers always settled into my fine lines making my eyes appear older than they are. At times, it would even look cakey.  I tried a variety of different concealers and types of concealers and nothing worked.

I recently went on a haul at Ulta a few weeks ago because a friend of mine recommended me to try out the eye primer from Benefit. I had originally went to Ulta because I wanted to buy and try the High Beam highlighter from Benefit and the Urban Decay All Nighter Spray. Needless to say, I was ecstatic when I found a $24 sample kit of Benefit products. It had a sample of High Beam, Hoola, and Stay Don’t Stray Primer that I wanted to try.

My friend had told me the Stay Don’t Stray Primer is the best eye primer she has ever tried. I bought it for those intentions. It wasn’t until I read up on it that I realized it is made as a concealer primer as well! I’ve used primers for my face before but I stopped because my face Is extremely dry in certain areas so it was more useful to use a heavy moisturizer as my primer than a primer product.

Stay Don’t Stray is now a staple in my makeup kit. It is definitely an essential. Any concealers paired with this primer works like a dream under my eyes and over blemishes. I am now CREASE FREE. I will be purchasing the full size as soon as I run out of my sample size.

In the very first photo, I only have concealer on under my eyes. As you can see, it really settled into my lines and creased. Step 1: Apply Stay Don't Stray Concealer Primer. Step 2: Blend it out. Step 3: Apply concealer and blend it out. Step 4: Set with a loose power by gently pushing the powder in. Step 5: Voila! Finished product NO CREASING :)

These are the products I used: Benefit Stay Don’t Stray, Ben Nye Crème Concealer in RMY-1, and Bobbi Brown Concealer Loose Powder in Pale Yellow.
